Blumberg, Phillip I., et al., Blumberg on Corporate Groups (New York: Aspen Publishers, 2005-).  Call # KF 1465 .B59.  This is the second edition of Professor Blumberg's monumental treatise on the law of corporate groups and the relationship between parent, subsidiary, and affiliated companies.  Now consolidated into a five-volume set, it replaces the seven volumes of the first edition with their confusing individual subtitles. Cavitch, Zolman, Business Organizations with Tax Planning (New York: Matthew Bender and Co., 1963-).  Call # KF 1366 .C38.  A complete and exhaustive treatise and practice guide to the law of business organizations.  Highly recommended.  (Description from Svengalis).

Cox, James D., et al., Corporations (New York: Aspen Publishers, 2003-).  Call # KF 1414 .C72.  This treatise is the successor of Ballantine on Corporations.  The authors (all law professors) examine both the general principles of corporate law and the variations reflected in the laws of the states.  This work is a more succinct alternative to the Fletcher title.  (Description from Svengalis).  Available from LexisNexis.

Fletcher, William Meade, Fletcher Cyclopedia of the Law of Private Corporations (St. Paul: West (Clark Boardman Callaghan), 1971-).  Call # KF 1384 .F44.   Svengalis calls this the classic treatise on corporate law and easily the most complete and authoritative work ever produced on the subject.  (Description by Svengalis).

Gervutz, Franklin A., Corporation Law (St. Paul: West, 2010).  Call # KF 1413 .G49.  While intended primarily as a law school textbook, this West Hornbook provides an excellent introduction and overview for practicing attorneys, judges, and other professionals.  (Description from Svengalis).

Hamilton, Robert W., The Law of Corporations in a Nutshell (St. Paul: West, 2010).  Call # KF 1414.3 .H35.  This brief student overview of the law of corporations was written by a professor at the University of Texas School of Law.  (Description from Svengalis).
