Elder Law: Oklahoma Elder Law Resources

Oklahoma Government Websites

The State of Oklahoma's website has links to many government agencies that figure prominently in Elder Law issues.  Two of the most useful include the Oklahoma State Department of Health (with links to information on Long Term Care Inspection Surveys and the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry, for example) and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, which has a page on programs and services for older Oklahomans with many helpful links. 

Oklahoma Organization Websites

The Oklahoma Bar Association published a comprehensive guide for senior citizens.  The Senior Citizens Handbook is a 64-page guide to help senior citizens with issues that they may face and is available for free online.

Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma provides assistance for low-income individuals and senior citizens with civil legal problems.
