Prepare for your Session

• Bring a copy of your assignment, textbook, notes, and/or syllabus.
• Bring a copy of what you have done so far.
• Come prepared to answer: “What would you like to focus on today?”
• For written projects longer than 5 pages, pick 3 to 5 pages to cover for the session.

Show RESPECT!

• Arrive on time (If you are more than 15 minutes late, your tutor may no longer be available.)
• Have a minimum of 30 minutes available to work on your assignment.
• Please NO CELLPHONES while you’re being assisted.

What to Expect

• The tutors are here to help you!
• Positive critical feedback and reinforcement.
• Open, accepting, and engaging interaction.
• Focus on enhancing academic skills, knowledge, and comprehension.

Session Rules

• Sessions are a maximum of 50 minutes.
• You may not have one session right after another.
• You are expected to work on your assignment on your own between sessions.
• Students are limited to two sessions a day in the same subject.
• A specific tutor is not guaranteed, but whoever is available will help you!

What NOT to Expect

• Someone to do your work for you.
• Proofreading service.
• Drop-off service.
