Services: Thesis Binding

Quick Link

The Dulaney-Browne Library provides thesis binding services for OCU students completing a capstone project, masters thesis or doctoral dissertation.

Complete, university-wide official requirements for the submission are included in the graduate catalog for the year you began your program.

Additional requirements are available in the style sheets provided by your programs. (Contact your advisor for more information.)

Your advisor must sign off that your completed project meets these guidelines:

  • at least 1 unbound copy for the library
  • white, letter-size, acid-free, 20-24 pound, 25-100 percent rag content paper
  • 1 ½ inch left and  1 inch top, and bottom margins, and right margins
  • printed on one side of the paper (except musical compositions)
  • all copies include signatures of advisor and or committee
  • meets program title page and abstract requirements
  • meets program style sheet requirements

Shipment Dates

Theses are normally sent to a bindery once or twice per year and returned when the next month. This does not affect the awarding of the degree, but it does mean that the library will no longer be including personal copies in binding shipments.
