The Chickasaw Nation Law Library owns or subscribes to several databases containing primary and secondary source documents related to American Indian and Tribal Law, including the following:

  • Indigenous Law Portal: Released by the Law Library of Congress in July 2014, the Indigenous Law Portal features links to laws and other information for tribes in the United States. Tribes can be viewed by region, by state, or alphabetically.
  • Indian Land Tenure FoundationThe Indian Land Tenure Foundation is a national, Native non profit organization " focused on the recovery, management and control of American Indian lands by Indian people." The site contains information and publications about land tenure, resource preservation, and land management.
  • Native American Rights Fundprovides legal assistance to Indian tribes, organizations, and individuals nationwide.
  • 500 NationsLocal information for Native American culture and resources in every state and province of the United States and Canada.
  • Tribal Court Clearinghouse: a comprehensive "resource for American Indian and Alaska Native Nations, American Indian and Alaska Native people, tribal justice systems, victims services providers, tribal service providers, and others involved in the improvement of justice in Indian country."
