The Federal Reporter publishes decisions from the United States Court of Appeals. The Federal Reporter consists of three series: F., F.2d., and F.3d. The Chickasaw Nation Law Library no longer carries Federal Reporter in print. Cases are available on Westlaw and Lexis Plus, as well as on some free resources.
The Federal Supplement publishes decisions from the Federal District Courts. The Federal Supplement currently has two series: F.Supp. and F.Supp 2d. The Chickasaw Nation Law Library no longer carries the print editions of the Federal Supplement. Cases are available on Westlaw and Lexis, as well as on some free resources.
The Federal Appendix covers unpublished circuit court cases (cases not selected for publication in the Federal Reporter) from 2001 to the present. Cases are selected by West editors for inclusion in this series. However, the 5th and 11th Circuit Courts do not submit unpublished cases to West for consideration, so there are none included from those courts. Cases in the Federal Appendix are available on Westlaw and Lexis.
