History: Books

To find print books, ebooks, articles, and DVDs held by our library, go to WorldCat Discovery (see below). 

Most history books in Dulaney-Browne Library are found in the call numbers 930-990:

930s (Ancient world)
940s (Europe)
950s (Asia)
960s (Africa)
970s (North America; 973-979 United States)
980s (South America)
990s (Australia, Oceania, polar regions)

These titles are located  in the reference area on the first floor, on the fourth floor, and in basement storage (ask at the front desk).

There are also thousands of online full-text titles available online through EBSCO ebooks.

To find books in other libraries and obtain them through interlibrary loan (ILL), try WorldCat Discovery. When you click on an individual book's title, a link to request ILL will appear on the right of the screen. You may also request a book directly through the ILL book form link below. (Allow three days up to two weeks for interlibrary loan.)
