For Federal law, the Uniform Code of Military Justice governs courts-martial. It is codified in Title 10, Chapter 47 of the United States Code (U.S.C.). When researching the Uniform Code of Military Justice, it is advisable to use an annotated version of the U.S.C., such as the United States Code Annotated (published by West and available via Westlaw) or the United States Code Service (published by Lexis and available via Lexis+).

In Oklahoma, the Uniform State Code of Military Justice governing courts-marital is codified in Title 44, Chapter 8 of the Oklahoma Statutes, at 44 O.S §§ 3200-4002.

Regulations - Federal

Federal administrative regulations regarding military justice can be found within Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations (C.F.R.), entitled National Defense. Administrative decisions and guidance are available on agency websites. In addition, Westlaw has available some military law administrative decisions and guidance from the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
