Faculty Services: New Course & New Program Forms

New Course Form Signatures

Librarians need to review and sign new course forms before they are submitted to Academic Programs and Standards. The librarian will want to discuss the information needs of students in the proposed class and the library resources available to them.  If additional funding is needed. This will need to be discussed with the library director.

  • email the completed form to your subject librarian (see list at right/below)
  • call or visit to discuss information needs
  • librarian will add information about library resources available to support the course, sign the form, and forward it to the instructional technologist for review

Please allow about a week before the deadline if possible. For rush approvals, call your subject librarian or the library director at 405-208-5072.

New Program Form Signatures

The library director needs to review and sign new program forms before they are submitted to Academic Programs and Standards. In some cases, this will include a discussion of how to fund additional library resources needed to appropriately support the program.

  • email any related new course forms to the subject librarian (see new course form signatures to the left or above)
  • email the completed new program form to [email protected]
  • call or visit to discuss the program information and budget needs for the new program
  • the library director will add information about budget, sign the form, and forward it to the instructional technologist for review

Please allow about a week before the deadline if possible. If the proposal is not yet finished, the director can begin review on an incomplete proposal.
