Lee, J.D. and Barry A. Lindahl, Modern Tort Law: Liability and Litigation, 2d ed. (St. Paul: West (Clark Boardman Callaghan), 1990-).  Call # KF 1250 .L44.  Written by a practitioner, adjunct professor and past president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America.  A low cost alternative for someone who does not need the extensive treatment of the Speiser or Minzer titles.  (Description from Svengalis).  The Law library no longer subscribes to the print version.  Last updated with 2010 supplement.

Minzer, Marilyn K., Damages in Tort Actions (New York: Matthew Bender, 1982-).  Call # KF 1250 .D35.  One of the most extensive treatises available.  Written by over 25 individual authors, this work covers all aspects of tort law and procedure in 150 chapters.  (Description from Svengalis).  The Law library no longer subscribes to the print version.  Last updated with 1992 supplement.

Speiser, Stuart M., et al., The American Law of Torts (St. Paul: West (Clark Boardman Callaghan), 1983-).  Call # KF 1250 .S568.  This treatise covers torts from a broad perspective including legal questions that overlap into other areas of law.  Significant cases from the colonial period to 1975 are mentioned and all cases from all jurisdictions are included from 1975-present.  Citations to ALR and Am.
